Another fantastic Foxx tournament has come and gone! Thank you to all the players that entered and to all the members who came to help. What a great day of friendly rivalry, laughter and lots of cold beers despite the rain. A BIG shout out to all our sponsors for the day and a special thanks to Dennis for sponsoring the squash racket that was raffled.

SAVE THE DATE!  FRIDAY 31^{st of} May we are organizing another fun doubles tournament from 17h00 to 18h30 for all Collegians squash members. Entry is free and the format will be mixed strengths so all players entering will be mixed and matched. Cameron has volunteered his wife to make a delicious Chicken Breyani for supper.

On the night we will be launching, “The Joker Card Game” and we will have a draw in Pixie’s Bar every month end going forward. Tickets will be on sale at R10 a ticket. The winner that turns over the Joker will receive 80% of the overall takings. Please WhatsApp or email your name to Glynis if you are keen to play. We would really love to get as many of our members together for some fun squash and laughter!

A big thank you to Ronelle for getting our Collegians Web page done. This should be up and running by next week.

Alterations to the men’s change rooms is almost complete and the makeover is looking really good.

I would like to congratulate Phil Whitehorn on his successful nomination as representative for our squash club on Collegians Exco. Without representation from squash, going forward we are placing our sub section in jeopardy and we need other members to put their hands up as we can’t keep relying on the same members.

To all those that are playing Winter league I hope all is going well. Two weeks ago, different sections hosted various teams and it was really good to see Pixies Pub buzzing and every one enjoying themselves.

We will send out a WhatsApp reminder about the Doubles tournie on Friday 31^st May so we can have numbers for catering.
